[ Crisis averted, even if the best wishes are totally awkward and uncalled for. Squalo had never figured it out when people he'd known for years expressed their preference for his prolonged life, and he certainly wasn't going to take it to heart from a stranger, but -- this place had no good deaths. He had a king to return to, after all. ]
