Vibe check: He's loud, energetic, and often playful even in the face of violence and murder (always have fun at work!), though he's capable of being pleasant in normal circumstances when needed. He's also rude, has a violent temper, and has no fear of death or God. He is honestly not difficult to read, being quite earnest for a criminal and preferring to bend people to his will via force and intimidation rather than manipulation. He is a master swordsman (arguably the best in his version of the world). His signature weapon is a roman spatha that he usually attaches to his prosthetic hand. However he's just as proficient with other kinds of swords and knows his way around knives as well.
He's a career assassin and is more than adept at murdering or incapacitating people through other means than blades. He can also hold his own in unarmed combat. This should be considered at "badass normal" level; his skills while highly praised as genius are not really considered unnatural in-universe and could theoretically be achieved by anyone with enough training and raw talent. However he does have a bit of uncanny luck at surviving things that could and should kill him.
His left hand is artificial from the wrist (some prostheses can cover most of his forearm as well though). It is high-tech, waterproof and very strong and durable, and allows him both to use it as an extra weapon and to perform most daily tasks when needed, though he does not have feeling in it. He doesn't really need to take it off unless it needs to be repaired or thoroughly cleaned.
Shounen Bullshit, Go: He has an ability called Rain Flames, which gradually slows down and numbs everything it comes into contact with (for example, an opponent), as well as cancels out other types of Flames or energy (up to a limit). He's also able to summon a violent flying shark covered in Rain Flames to do his bidding, break stuff or ride on, as long as he has his special Rain Attribute Varia Ring on him. At very high concentration, Rain Flames could theoretically kill a person by stopping all their bodily functions (like heartbeat), however Squalo in particular has not been shown to possess this level of power.
